


Dan Kane
Director of Camp Operations
Dan Kane attended Ascension school and Oak Park River Forest High School. Dan coached boys and girls basketball and soccer from 2002-2009 at St. Giles School in Oak Park, under the direction of Jim Collins. He helped supervise St. Giles' intramural and interscholastic programs that run year round. In 2007, Dan graduated from Marquette University with a BA in Broadcasting. Dan currently runs Legacy's day to day operations such as scheduling, marketing, public relations, human resources, accounting, programming and staffing. He currently runs almost all Legacy birthday parties, after-school programs and summer camps.
Caleb Fields
Director of Baseball Operations
Caleb attended Ascension school, is a youth Bronco/PONY alum and was an All-State infielder for Fenwick High School. He captained the Northwestern baseball team and was an All-Big 10 selection in 2006. In 2007, Caleb was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization where he played two seasons. He played in 2009 for the Rockford Riverhawks of the Frontier League. He has supervised youth camps for over 10 years in various sports and helped run a baseball academy on the North Shore with over 600 kids attending. Currently, Caleb is a Varsity baseball coach at Fenwick High School.
LEGACY SPORTS CAMP TRAINERS AND STAFF
Tim Dennehy (Baseball, Basketball, Sports Camps)
Tim played baseball and basketball for Oak Park and River Forest High School. After his OPRF graduation, Tim was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. He signed scholarships to play at the University of Texas, the University of Tennessee and Chandler Community College. Tim then played two years in the Yankee organization where he received a World Series ring and was the winning pitcher of his Gulf Coast Championship team. Tim has since coached high school baseball in Florida and at OPRF. Tim has been running Legacy programs and baseball lessons since 2010.
Tug Gillingham (Baseball)
Tug attended and played baseball at Walther Lutheran High School in Melrose Park, IL. He then played at Purdue University and Northern Illinois University, where he batted .294 in 2005. Tug has played professionally in the Frontier League for the Windy City Thunderbolts, in South Georgia for the SCL, Sioux City of the American Association, and the Joliet Jackhammers of the Northern League. He has over ten years of youth baseball training experience, specializes in catching and hitting fundamentals, and currently coaches baseball at Lincoln Park High School in Chicago.
