FAQ for Summer Camps

Where is the camp held?

The camp is held in your school’s own gym, unless specifid.

What does each program consist of?

Please click the PROGRAMS tab at the top of the page for extended explanations of every program offered.

Do I sign up for individual programs or does the one fee cover all programs?

The one time fee grants access to ALL grade specific programs. (Once registered, a 4th grader may attend every 4th grade program 5 days a week for the 4 weeks.)

What are children supposed to do between sessions and/or after their sessions are finished?

Students should return home or be picked up. The staff cannot provide supervision for students whose programs are not in session.

Should children bring lunches or snacks?

No. The grade specific sessions never exceed 3
hours at a time. (A 4th grader will not have more than 3 hours of activity in a row) Students are expected to snack/eat lunch outside of programs and not in the gym. This allows for less mess and avoids any choking or allergy hazards. Water/Gatorade/etc. is permitted, but not on the gym floor.

What if my child cannot make a certain program/time?

The camp structure is drop-in by design. All teams will be made up of the students in attendance for that specific session. Students are free to attend any/all programs. The only attendance policy is that only students who have registered will be permitted to participate. We do not pro-rate summer camps.

How do I set up a payment plan?

For more information, Please email Dan at info@legacysportscamp.com.

What programs offer awards?

Awards are given for kickball leaders in home runs, RBIs, doubles, hits, and batting average. Awards will be given at the conclusion of camp. For a player to win an award for best batting average, the student must have made 9 kickball game appearances. Awards will be given in Open Gym to students who make 1,500 free throws during the 4 week camp.
